Live2Support Spotlight : Live Chat on your Android and Blackberry Smartphones

With a quarter of Planet Earth expected to go mobile in less than two years and the unprecedented explosion of mobile utilization in most countries, it is no wonder that your organization too needs the capability and flexibility of mobile chat. Live2Support has been offering mobile chat for over a year now and in addition to the iPhone, we also have you covered on the Android and Blackberry fronts. Our mobile chat capability has been fully tested and we have many customers already using the function successfully.

Two Sides of the Mobile Chat Coin

There are two issues involved: First, there is the question of live chat accessibility on your website when users launch a mobile browser on their smartphones. As long as your website is mobile browser enabled, there are no issues involved whatsoever. Your customers can chat with you from the comfort of their smartphones. If your website isn't mobile-ready yet, the time to become proactive has finally arrived.

Secondly, your live chat operators and you need to be able to respond to live chat requests during those times when you are away from work stations and laptops. All you need to do during these times is to simply fish out your smartphone from your purse or pocket and get to work! You will need either an iPhone, an Android Smartphone or a Blackberry to do the trick.

Our live chat software works seamlessly in conjunction with Google Talk which means that you will need to do a little twiddling around. Not to worry. we are here to help you. Come on board through live chat and we will show you how. It is a good idea though for you to try yourself first because you will get to explore the functionality at your level. Log into your account and go to the Control Panel. There you will find the option to enable the service. You will need to input your Gmail Id and update your page.

Delivering live chat service to your customer community on a smartphone will take a little getting used to initially. However, since many of our customers have been raving about this service, we thought we would tell you about it again just in case you have been actively pondering the possibility.
